An ex banker, travel professional, recent immigrant, looking for job
Hey all the helpful people there,
I am an ex banker, travel professional, short stint with pak n save, based at Mt Albert and eagerly looking for a job. I have applied on various jobs on indeed, seek, directly on various bank sites, nz post, given my resume at every pak n save and the likes, uploaded online, created profiles but not even able to schedule an interview. I carry vast experience in admin, operations, accounts, office desks, am computer savvy. Do anybody need an excellent staff for them, their own company or at the company they work, can refer me, can guide me. I would prefer desk job but open to all retail store jobs also. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
