GABBS Book FAIR - NOVEMBER 2024
The GABBS book fair is an annual event held at the Stadium. Our Book Fair raises funds for the East City Community Trust, the Barfoot & Thompson Stadium sports clubs, and other community groups.
Dates & Times for 2024
Saturday 2nd November 2024 9AM-1AM (Sunday morning)
Sunday 3rd November 2024 7AM-3PM
We accept donations of good 2nd hand books, as long as in good resaleable condition, DVDs, jigsaw puzzles, records and CDs at the Stadium all year round

PLEASE NOTE -
NO ex-library books, technical books more than 3 years old, atlases or encyclopedias, cassettes, video tapes, magazines.
And PLEASE- books must be in resaleable condition - no mouldy, mottled, yellowed books or books with no spines / cover pages.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
