Free family event - Auckland celebrates Hanukkah in the Bays
Auckland Celebrates Hanukkah in the Bays with a fun family event to kick off the summer holidays on Sunday 13th December from 4:30pm to 8:30pm at Orakei Domain, Okahu Bay, near the playground.
The lighting of the Hanukkia (candle lighting) will take place around 7:30pm
Taste Israeli and Jewish food, enjoy live bands and Israeli dancing, explore arts and craft stalls, and jump on the bouncy castle.
Learn about the Jewish festival of Hanukkah and watch the lighting of the nine-branch candelabra, the Hanukkiah, at 7.30pm.
This is a free event for all ages and backgrounds – all welcome.
