A fine (feline?) way to start the day
With the mornings being lighter, Sparky is helping me start the day mindfully. I watch the sun rising, do some stretches, and meditate, setting up the beginning of the day so I can take that sense of being present, calm and grounded through the rest of the day.
For me, it sure beats reaching for my phone as soon as I wake up, a tendency I used to have which left me feeling agitated right away, yet the documentary “The social dilemma” suggests that is what most people do. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
