Painting and decorating
I retired from being a graphic designer several years ago and now work as a house painter. I have a lot of previous experience having refurbished many homes. I worked for a year for a commercial operator and found the quality of workmanship wanting so decided to go out on my own using my own contacts. I have been painting now for 5 years in the neighbourhood. My standard of preparation, the most important aspect of a good job, is excellent and have many references, some you can view under Tengate Paint. I do not do quotes as they require a contingency percentage. I prefer to give estimates of time instead. If I come across an unexpected problem, like rot which I can fix, I will discuss this with you on how to proceed. Hourly rate is $45. I have very good paint discounts which I pass on directly to clients. I am also happy to do small jobs. I look forward to discussing your job with you. Cheers John
