Hi, I am a Masters Student from Southern Institute of Technologies. I am conducting my research on "Effective ways of using Mobile Marketing for Retailers in Auckland" which will benefit for small businesses in near future. The questionnaire consists of questions that are general and does not collect or record any personal information. If you own a small business even it is conducted from your home, you may participate in this survey. Poll: Should NZ go Cash Less?

With more and more transactions now electronic and many businesses starting to go cash less, do we need cash anymore?

Even market stalls have eftpos these days.

Notes and coins cost the government to produce and update.
There are added security issues when handling cash in businesses and also added costs of banking large sums.

Money laundering and those working "under the table" could be reduced or eliminated. What do you think?
