Water contamination information

There are often water contamination issues from streams flowing into both Hobson Bay and Orakei Basin.
We have put together a discussion document which provides more information on the issues, what is being done and how you can keep safe.
Follow the link below for full details. but as a golden rule at the moment just keep animals and children out of the water in these areas, especially the urban streams. www.safeswim.org.nz... is a great website with current information on water quality so do get into the habit of checking there before heading to the beach.
