Where will you be watching #vectorlights?
Vector Lights is turning on Auckland Harbour Bridge on January 27 with a spectacular world-first solar, battery and peer-to-peer powered light and sound show.
Bring along a picnic and find a spot with a great view of the bridge. Tune in to Coast 105.4FM to hear the music that goes with the show. The Vector Lights show will run every half hour until midnight. Coast 105.4FM will play for the 9:10pm and 9:30pm show, after that you can hear the sound on Vector.co.nz/lights.
You can also watch and listen live to the six minute light and sound show at facebook.co.nz/vectornz.
Vector Lights, part of a smart energy partnership between Vector and Auckland Council in collaboration with the NZ Transport Agency, will transform the Waitematā and become the guiding light toward a smart energy future.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
