Purebred Golden Retriever Puppies

Trish from Conifer Grove

We have 7 beautiful Purebred Golden Retrievers Puppies which were planned and now 3 weeks old and had their 1st lot of worming at 2 weeks and will be ready for their new homes early September. There are 4 girls and 3 boys

Both Fern and her boyfriend Huxley are both purebred but are sold un-papered. Previous registered kennel paperwork is available for Fern..

Fern and Huxley have very loving natures, loves the car, walks, and of course lots of cuddles. Both are great with children and the elderly. Our dogs are very outgoing and we take them everywhere we go – camping, fishing, trips to see family and get walked daily. Both have been regularly vaccinated, de-wormed and de-fleaed. They have been checked by the vets with excellent healthy passes.

All puppies will be de-wormed de-fleaed, together with their Vet book and their first vaccination. You will also receive a small puppy pack upon collection including a blanket with mum’s scent, a toy, Royal Canin food sample that they will be fed on, recipes for biscuits etcs and a puppy care guide.

Visitation is welcome so you can now come and see/choose your puppy to interact and build a relationship with your puppy before delivery.

Any questions or enquiries please email to: mailto:trish.vickers.is@gmail.com or text/call 021 346 328. We want the best life for these puppies, so please only get in touch with me if you are serious about making these pups into a much-loved family member.

Poll: Would you commute by public transport if it was free?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Using your car is convenient, except for finding parking.

Cycling lets you leave anytime, but you might arrive soaked.

So, neighbours, if public transport had the perk of being free, would it be your main way to commute?

Six tips for improving security around your home

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

1) Improve outdoor lighting
Ensure that streets, driveways, and front yards are well-lit. Motion-sensor lights around homes deter trespassers by reducing hiding spots and illuminating their movements.

2) Trim your trees
Overgrown shrubs and trees provide cover for intruders. Keeping them well-trimmed around windows and doors improves visibility and reduces potential hiding spots.

3) Secure Entry Points
Ensure doors, windows, and gates are always closed when you are away from the house. Upgrade to more secure locks, deadbolts, or even smart locks for added protection.

4) Add a security camera
Place security cameras in the main entry points to your home. Doorbell cameras are also relatively cheap and a great way to keep track of who is visiting your home when you aren't there.

5) Start a Neighborhood Watch Program
You could reach out to members on Neighbourly to form a group of neighbors who can regularly keep an eye out for suspicious activity and report it. You could also check with Neighbourhood Support to see what is existing in your area.

6) Introduce yourself to your neighbours
The closer you are to your neighbors, the more likely they’ll notice when something unusual or suspicious is happening around your property

Feel free to share anything that you do around your area to deter crime.
