Single or king single beds and mattresses in excellent condition
Safe Haven House looks after the accommodation of asylum seekers arriving in NZ. The week we received two asylum seekers and we have just one bed.
Shortly there is another asylum seeker arriving? We need 1-2 single or King single beds and mattresses in good condition. We would prefer donations if possible. Some of our recent asylum seekers are tall and a King single would be helpful. Thank you for your help. Morning everyone Just a update on my hernia had a scan last week saw my doctor yesterday it hasn’t come back and there is no liquid around where it was Just swelling and it can take another few months for the swelling to go away. Here is your weekend laugh
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
