A big brother role with a big impact
πͺ Do you enjoy getting out and about, visiting parks, riding bikes and keeping busy outside?
πͺ Do people describe you as trustworthy, calm and perceptive?
πͺ Are you looking for 15 β 20 hours of work a week in the afternoons and weekends?
We are looking for someone to support an 8 year old boy after school and in the weekends. He loves animals, playgrounds and biking and your role will be to take him out to explore the area around his home in Flatbush. This young boy has autism, which fuels his love of sensory play (like water and playdough) and means that he communicates with actions more than words.
You need a full drivers licence, a vehicle and enthusiasm to run around and share in the fun with him. We are looking for two people to help across the week, in the afternoons approximately 3pm β 7pm and for 6-8 hour shifts in the weekend. If you could help with a few or a lot of those hours each week we would love to chat with you.
If you are interested please email jobs@flyingkites.org.nz or send me a message.
