New Marcellin College Alumni Network
Marcellin College is excited to announce the establishment of an Alumni Network. A small committee of past pupils has come together with the aim of providing an opportunity to foster friendships, help alumni reconnect and build a closer relationship between school and our alumni community.
A website and other communications tools are under development and it is our intention to hold regular events in the future. However, to grow our Alumni community we need your support. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
