When is a piece of furniture “worth” restoring? || There is no clear cut answer we can give our clients when they are unsure whether or not to pursue a restoration or repair. There are rare instances when we would not undertake repair because it might compromise the structure or integrity of an item, but we can’t think of many situations where an item is beyond repair—with the exception of pesky borer! An item in your home has meaning, whether it’s your first dining table or your grandmother’s blanket box, even a whole new finish to colour match your ever changing palette, ➖YOU➖ get to decide if it’s worth it, and what the item means to you 💚
