Glyphosate. We just got sprayed again.

Karen from Totara Vale

No warning. As usual. These guys have to wear protective gear yet we have no chance to get the kids and the pets inside, shut our windows and know for how long we shouldn't eat anything out of our gardens.
It was windy today.
This was the walkway right by my house.
I asked the contractor what they were spraying and he said "Glyphosate. Your favourite". Clearly I've made a name for myself with the council and their contractors.
That young guy might have had his protective gear but he also had bare legs. He clearly doesn't understand how it crosses the skin barrier. Let's see how cocky he is in a couple of years.
Monsanto was sued for millions for the death of a contractor who died from lymphoma after exposure to this stuff. 3 of my dogs have died from lymphoma. I didn't know the council sprays 4 times a year in the park I ran my dogs.
Let's not forget too that while the councils can douse us in this chemical we can't get tested for exposure to it here in NZ. Or our pets.
Read this:
www.roundup-claim.com...
"In August 2018, a jury for the Superior Court of California ordered Monsanto to pay $289 million to Dewayne Johnson, a former school district groundskeeper, because of Roundup’s likely role in contributing to his cancer. As a result, the number of glyphosate lawsuits against Monsanto has ballooned to more than 8,700 cases."

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
