Toxic Herbicide in Public Spaces

Anthony from Saint Johns

Weed killers & herbicides have been used excessively on the public berm space infront of Sunhill Fresh Market. It's a space used by families enjoying an Ice cream or coffee in the shade, people out walking their doggos, folks playing chess & kids comming home from local schools.
Unfortunately NZ still has "no ban on Glysophate" where most of the world has, it literally kills everything & destroys soil integrity.
Where ever you see dead dehydrated grass like in the photos you can bet these toxins have been used. I have spoken to the people in the fruit shop, you should also if you care about your community.
Unfortunately after speaking with them months ago they recently decided to spray alot more.

Poll: Should drivers retake the theory test every 10 years?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Drivers get where they need to go, but sometimes it seems that we are all abiding by different road rules (for example, the varying ways drivers indicate around a roundabout).
Do you think drivers should be required to take a quick driving theory test every 10 years?

Vote in the poll and share any road rules that you've seen bent! 😱
