Auckland Transport Overused Power to Get Extra Income
I just received a parking fine from Auckland Transport for parking at the vehicle crossing.
Reason for the fine was Obstruction at the vehicle crossing, as the sub-clause states that no vehicles shall stop or park at the vehicle crossing.
I found this to be unreasonable. Although it met the condition of the sub-clause, it didn't result in obstruction as the vehicle crossing and driveway was solely used by me.
Not only that, my neighbours had the vehicles parked on their vehicle crossing and they didn't get a fine.
Am I right in this? Any thought or comments?
