Sunnybrae Road /AT Agenda

Garth from Hillcrest

Hi, no doubt my neighbours in Sunnybrae Road will have received the flyer from Fulton Hogan who will be doing the changes to the street as proposed by Auckland Transport. This continues their (AT's) push to impose their agenda of making travel by car as difficult as possible despite I'm sure many objections from those who use the road. The introduction of the dreaded T2 lanes is imminent and I have yet to hear of road users who have found this to be of benefit in other places (think Onewa Road). This organisation is domineering and evil and have shown their unwillingness to listen to public opinion. They have a 'we know best" approach and have more power than Ratepayers in Auckland should be comfortable with.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
