3 Tips for Better Sleep

Beds4U Henderson

Tired of tossing and turning at night and waking up exhausted?
Here are some tips and suggestions involving light exercises to help you achieve a better night's sleep.

Walking
A good walk outside might be the solution to your sleep deprivation. Walking at any pace is a nice method to unwind after a long day. The combined advantages of exercise and exposure to nature enhance restfulness.

Flexibility training
Aches and pain may cause problems on a good night's sleep. If your body hurts and you can't sleep, consider including yoga exercises into your night regimen. Stretching at night can mobilise any stiff joints and relax any stiff muscles. Using a latex mattress might also be beneficial depending on one's comfort.

Strength training
Some believe that undertaking intensive activities at night, such as weightlifting, affects sleep, yet studies show otherwise. Keep in mind that you don't have to go overboard during a nighttime strength training workout. If you're worried about having difficulties sleeping, do a shorter or less intensive strength training exercise before bed.

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

There's only a few differences between our larger chain supermarkets here in New Zealand. Having someone bag your groceries is one of them.

Does having your groceries packed for you at the checkout influence where you do your grocery shop? If so, tell us why.

Breaking the secret code ...🤨

Fiona from Henderson

Today I’m breaking the secret code of all responsible car, truck and motorbike drivers.
We have kept this secret to ourselves for so many years, all the while assuming (incorrectly) that others may have guessed it along the way.
Well they haven’t, so now I am being forced to break the code of silence.

Here we go … to all of those red light runners, the green (GO) light does come back, it really does.
All you have to do is wait a little bit and … ta dah!!! There it is.
That pretty green light that you all seem to think is not coming back magically reappears after a short period of time.

Please try this and you to will become our newest member into the secret club of safe and responsible drivers.
For the newest members of our responsible and safe drivers club, welcome.

However, to become fully fledged LIFE TIME members, you must also understand that the two sticks behind your steering wheel are the window wipers to be used on rainy days and also to clean your windscreen on days where there is glare from the sun and the ‘hidden’ INDICATOR.
Please learn which one is the indicator and use it for every corner you turn into and for every single merge into traffic – both left and right sides.
Once you have done that, you will automatically become a lifetime member of our very exclusive club.

But please remember, you have to be a consistent responsible driver to stay as a lifetime member of the responsible and safe drivers.
