Want to successfully work from home?

Anthea from Lifestyle Happy Place

๐Ÿ’› Hi I'm Anthea, I grew up in Hawkes bay, dropped out of school at 16, saved my dole money, bought a one-way ticket to Australia with $40 to spare and DECIDED to make something of myself. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ™.

๐Ÿ’›That was nearly 30 years ago now. I had a dream to become a pilot in the Airforce and travel the world. ๐Ÿ›ซ๐Ÿš€.

๐Ÿ’› I didn't quite achieve my pilot goal, but I have traveled the world, enjoyed time in the navy, a 20 year healthcare career and love that I built an online business up simply from home.

๐Ÿ’› I live locally by on the coast now for the Lifestyle, working part time with my laptop and phone around my family & travel globally for business.

๐Ÿ’› If your looking for an opportunity to learn how to build a business of your own to get ahead financially.

๐Ÿ’› I'm passionate about working with professionals who really want freedom like I do. Click the READ MORE button for info.

What workplace change would you like to see most?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

This coming Monday is Labour Day in New Zealand. This public holiday marks when the eight-hour workday and 48-hour workweek became law in 1899. The idea started with Samuel Parnell, a carpenter in Wellington, who in 1840 refused to work more than eight hours a day. Since skilled workers were in short supply, his employer had to agree.

As more skilled workers arrived, employers tried to change working conditions, but Parnell and others kept pushing for better rights. In 1890, Parnell led a Labour Day parade of 1,500 people to promote the eight-hour day. He passed away shortly after, and nine years later, Labour Day became an official public holiday.

Do you feel that we have reached the ideal in working environments yet? What rights are you passionate about relating to employment? Share your thoughts!
