Are you good at taking photos?

Caroline Williams Reporter from Stuff

Hi Aucklanders. Today marks the start of the Auckland Festival of Photography, with exhibitions being held at galleries around the region. Anyone with access to a camera, including phone cameras, has the opportunity to take part in the festival with the Nikon Auckland Photo Day competition. Just take a photo at any time on June 8 that showcases your slice of Auckland. The photo can be anything you want, including snaps of friends and family. All entries will be stored in a unique archive that currently has over 15,000 photos dating back to 2004. An exhibition of last year's top 30 entries is on display at the waterfront of Te Wero Island.
