I'll also post the info here too.
Consultation status: closed 9 August 2017
Proposal reference: TOW1718-011
We are proposing to:
Install a new mini roundabout including associated give way and flush median road markings.
Install four new splitter islands including new signage on the approach to the roundabout.
Install new a pram crossing and refuge island with tactile pavers and build a widened footpath access on the west and south approach to the roundabout on Sel Peacock Drive.
Install kerb extensions with a grass berm on the north-east corner (outside #13) and the south-west corner (outside #10) of the intersection.
Removal and conversion of several pram crossings to footpath at intersection.
Removal of parking outside #13 (1 space), outside #8 (2 spaces) and opposite #10 (4 spaces) on Buscomb Avenue.
Why the changes are needed
There have been many crashes occurring at this intersection due to vehicles not stopping and also confusion over who is required to give way from Buscomb Avenue.
The mini-roundabout proposed with new pedestrian refuges will encourage lower speeds and simplify the give way priority and turning movements resulting in a lower frequency and severity of crashes at this intersection. Parking has also been removed in order to improve visibility for pedestrians at the pram crossings.
Traffic and pedestrian surveys have been completed and are available on request.
Feedback
The proposal received positive feedback with some concerns raised by respondents. After reviewing this feedback and all other supporting evidence, the proposal will proceed without changes to the next stage of detailed planning.
Specific feedback and proposed solution
Installation of a speed hump would be beneficial to slowing down traffic entering Buscomb Ave from Great North Rd. This issue has been taken on board and will be investigated separately.
Next steps
We expect to introduce this work in the 2017/18 financial year, subject to any further changes in design or funding issues.
Contractors will notify all residents in the area 48-hours prior to starting construction work.

I did tell a guy on the same call to delete me off the database because I unfortunately had signed up for a trading scheme a while back but I found out they went to administration in November last year. So I understand your peoples pain around this subject.
If any of you on Neighbourly do get any phone calls , usually if you have a landline phone with a screen showing with phone numbers, write the number down first while it rings. I know that sounds like a pain in the backside but eventually if you get the whole number down you will be able to see if they ring next time. Usually the phone number will in the UK starting with a 0064 than whatever the number is.
Most trading schemes and scams online want you to deposit $250 USD to start off your own trading account. This money you don't get back. Many online trading groups say that you can withdrawal your own money out of that account after so many trades, etc but that is very unlikely. Trading online is a risky business but then it basically wasting your own hard worked money on something that is usually worth nothing in the long run.
The other thing I would like to mention is the Microsoft scams as well. There will people from time to time who claim who are "Microsoft" technicians or "actual certified" people to want to fix your computer. Please if anyone gets these phone calls, just say "No thanks, Not interested. I know you guys are scams! Microsoft would not ring me to look at my computer!" Something like that. MICROSOFT DOES NOT RING PEOPLE WANTING THEM TO FIX THERE COMPUTERS. PERIOD!
Now last thing is that if anyone has email, I'm sure that most people do now. Just want to say if anyone get emails saying that your bank account has not been verified, these too on the emails are called "phishing" emails, where a certain email would come up on your email saying that your bank account needs verifying or your bank account needs updating, usually if you get any emails like this, if you search on the email address itself the email address will be something like say michaelxyz@habbabalubba744k44juinhyuuy.com, some ridiculous email like this. Just delete these emails but if you do accidentally click the fake link on that email address, this will go to the actual bank website whatever your bank maybe.

A major survey looking at the quality of life of Aucklanders has found some startling results.
Up to 40 per cent of people in some suburbs said they didn't have enough money to cover everyday items such as food or clothing. And nearly half described their housing costs as unaffordable. To read more, click here.
The survey found:
- Begging to be a big problem in Manurewa
- Rough sleepers were considered to be a big problem in Manurewa and Māngere-Ōtāhuhu
- Drugs and alcohol were considered a problem in West Auckland's Henderson-Massey areas.
So what are your thoughts on the survey and its results? Is it an accurate reflection of what's happening in your community? What community issues would you add to the list?
