The report found over half wanted more access to tracks, while many wanted access in less time than the plan proposed. Council said the purpose of the report was to identify which tracks the community felt should or should not be opened so it can make amendments to the plan. However, the one consistent message was that residents deeply care for and treasure our forests.

The night closures will take place on most nights from Sunday to Thursday from 8PM to 5AM. The work is weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice.
The Royal Road Bridge, which improves safety and access to the motorway, is scheduled to be completed by August. 2019.Read more here.
