A little bit about me...
My name is Linda. I am a widow, since 2005 and have worked on and off while finishing off raising our 8 children.
I'm looking to have a garage sale but first l have fruit and bamboo I'd like to somehow harvest.
I've lost a lot of weight this year and I'm in my 50s.
I know I can and I'd like to somehow inspire others.
I have lead and still do lead an interesting life and would like to meet others who may or may not be like myself.
Not a lot of qualifications outside the office but Many, many important life skills I would love to share.
I find myself with a bit of time between taking my elderly parents shopping every Friday and other appointments etc when necessary.
I also have beautiful twin grandchildren who are Autistic. I often have them over as well as their baby sister.
And a 4th grandchild on the way.
Most of my kids are in NZ, but I have 1 in Canada with her husband.
1 soon to move to Chile with his expectant partner.
I am also an animal lover. All but 1 of my pets are gone now.

Strong winds on Harbour Bridge
Metservice is predicting strong winds across Auckland this afternoon and are urging caution if you need to use the Harbour Bridge.
What you need to know:
- Gusts are predicted to reach between 75 – 80 km/h between 2pm and 4pm.
- The bridge lane formation will most likely stay in a 4 x 4 formation.
- Motorists are urged to drive to the conditions and look out for the electronic message boards which will indicate lane closures and reduced speeds, and stay within their lane while travelling across the bridge.
- Drivers of high sided vehicles and motorcyclists are advised to avoid the Auckland Harbour Bridge and use the western ring route on State Highways 16 and 18.
