Support Workers
Four young mild to moderate intellectual active adults who lead a busy life are looking for carers to support them in their flat to live the lives they want. Staff are needed to cover shifts over a 7 day period. Duties include outings, activities and preparing an evening meal. Experience is not essential. Applicants must have a full driver's licence to be a carer at the Pakuranga flat and be fully vaccinated against COVID. A police check will be run and references are essential. Payment is based on previous experience and/or qualifications. Some of our carers have been with us for years. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
