Witness to serious car crash in Howick sought
Police are seeking witnesses to a serious crash in Howick on August 22.
Just after 11pm, police were notified of the crash involving a silver Mazda Familia on Pakuranga Rd.
The person in the car received serious injuried.
Police are now wanting to talk to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or seen the car just prior to the crash.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Steve Latham from the Counties Manukau Police Serious Crash Unit on 09 261 1310 and leave a message with contact details, or email DLCMSCU@police.govt.nz.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
