a warning message for people who do on line purchasing.
I have been purchasing online from a company called Thin Lizzy for quite a few yrs now. I don’t have the habit of saving my credit card numbers with any online purchase. However, lately , all of a sudden ,I received an e mail from them to say thank you for my order.( I did not buy anything) I checked my credit card; they have deducted $70 from it. I checked again, their email said it was an auto renewal. So I tried to look for their phone number, there is no phone number. I quickly replied to them to ask them to cancel the order, I mentioned I did not sign up for an auto renewal. They ignored my request and sent the parcel out, 24 hours after my complained letter. I wrote to them again and asked for refund but they ignore it . They did not volunteer to cancel the subscription for me but asked me to go thro’ with their 10 steps to unsubscribe the order myself. I found their reply was so cold. I decided to cancel the credit card.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
