COVID19 News Update

Tena koe (Hi) Everyone,

Today's COVID19 News Special Update is of the following:

There are 71 new community cases, all in Auckland.

Forty-three cases are linked, and Twenty-eight cases are unlinked from today's community cases.

From yesterday 55 cases, 21 remain unlinked.

There are 4 Cases at North Shore Hospital, 17 in Middlemore Hospital, 11 in Auckland Hospital and 1 in Palmerston North Hospital. Overall, there are 33 new cases in Hospitals. The total number of cases in ICU is 5.

No new cases in Waikato. 2 of the Waikato cases from yesterday remain unlinked.

There are positive detections in the wastewater in Te Awamutu and Raglan.

They are 1,736 Cases in Auckland (1,172 of whom have recovered); 37 in Waikato (two of whom have recovered); 17 in Wellington (all of whom have recovered), which brings the overall total to 1,790 cases in the Community in New Zealand.

The overall total of cases since the pandemic began is 4,472.

The historical cases, since 1 Jan 2021: 169 out of 2,657 since 1 Jan 2021.

There is one new case at the border.

Lastly, you are not allowed to have indoor gatherings at Alert Level 3 by mixing with different household bubbles. Please keep your social distancing of 2 meters at all times in Public and wear your face masks when you are out and about.
