Playgroup at Somervell Church every Thursday
Somervell Church Playgroup is on again Thursday 9.30am in the basement playroom at Somervell Church, Corner Remuera Road and Greenlane Road East. Come and join one of the teachers from Uplands Kindergarten to play, sing and dance. Coffee, tea and biscuits provided for adults. Please bring morning tea for your child. Gold coin donation on entry. Everyone welcome.
Highwic Pop-up Christmas Shop
Following our closure for a private event please join us for the reopening on Friday 29th November,1-4pm when our annual pop-up Christmas shop will open in time to get some great Christmas gifts.
We will have complimentary drinks, Christmas mince pies, and croquet on the lawn.
Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga Members receive a 10% discount in the shop.
The Christmas Pop-up shop runs from Friday 29th of November to Sunday 22nd of December.
Entry to the shop is free, normal house entry applies.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
