Free funding workshop. TOMORROW
This is a free funding workshop opportunity and there are still paces available. If you need to fundraise for an event or community activity then this workshop will help you find opportunities and successfully bid for them.
As well as advice on how and where to apply for funding, the Department of Internal Affairs will be present to answer questions about the Covid Wellbeing Fund. Schools, church groups, charities, sports clubs could all benefit from this event. Thursday 19 November 11am 1pm, 3pm or 5pm. Limited to those working in or with the Maungakiekie-Tamaki area. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
