Join us at Rawhiti Estate in Remuera for a special brunch to support Sweet Louise – New Zealand’s only charity that supports those living with incurable breast cancer.

Rawhiti Estate is Remuera’s premium retirement living estate. As well as providing luxurious apartments and facilities for residents, Rawhiti Estate is also home to stunning New Zealand art which will you be able to enjoy on the day.

Hosted by Rawhiti Estate, with proceeds going to Sweet Louise, the brunch will feature a very special guest, Lauraine Jacobs MNZM. Lauraine is the New Zealand Listener food columnist, author of several cookbooks and is passionate about great food. She will serve up a tasty talk with some tales from her recent food travels in Ireland and France and share her insights into what’s current and hot on the New Zealand food scene and what we can expect to eat in the near future.

There will be spot prizes, a gorgeous raffle, the chance to meet and mingle as well as a delicious brunch served from 10am.

Tickets include automatic entry in the draw for one of three of Lauraine Jacobs’ cookbooks!

On the 1st October:
In 2012 we came up with the idea that a beehive would be a great benefit to our garden, so after expressing this to someone, who two weeks later , found a bee swarm they needed removed. We rang a beekeeper to see how we were to go about collecting it….. Oh my, when we look back now to that night, we have come a long way.

We never planned to increase to the size we are now which has taken us to a sizeable hive rental business. Long story short, it just happened and we have only once gone looking for locations. From there we now have 25 locations / gardens/ schools in Auckland with over 50 hives.

In saying this, we are really loving working together , learning so much about our little & helping others to learn too, by watching, tasting, touching & listening to what we are continually learning ourselves.
Sweet Azzz Beehive Rentals
p.s - Yummy local honey for sale (cash only)

On the 16th October:
AOK clothing from Geraldine will be having a pop up shop in our atrium - beautiful possum/merino knitwear and Italian linen wears. 10.30 - 2pm.

On the 27th November:
Rawhiti's Christmas fair.....join us for bubbles, nibbles and shopping! List of stalls TBA watch this space.

I am always keen to try something new here at Rawhiti - so if you have a daytime book club looking for a venue or a club, playgroup or mothers group come and check out Rawhiti.
