We prepared blanched kawakawa & spinach puree which tasted delicious with our Pigeon Bay lamb, smoked and then steamed in the kai cooker.
Marlene prepared palusami with taro land coconut cream and a little chili and Celia enjoyed preparing a kimchi vinaigrette to coat the balls of fresh watermelon, with a crumble of feta. Light, spicy and delicious.

Some commentators have supported the Trustee's decision to get revenue for the Park in any way that continues the legacy of Sir John Logan Campbell albeit at the very expense of the people the legacy was to have benefited. Few of these commentators would be aware of the extreme Trust Board negotiation tactics, forcing the Auckland A&P Association to high-cost mediation through a Pandemic. The fact that the Auckland A&P Association were also forced into liquidation forfeiting $40 million in assets to the Trust Board is a travesty that exposes a news story that is just the tip of an iceberg! Around 100 families who are local Cornwall Park leaseholders have been fighting unsuccessfully for the right to get fair compensation for their property improvements if they are unable to pay new lease costs expected to be up to $3,000 a week. There seems to be a theme to this odious and callous behavior that needs full public disclosure into the Trust Board or we will all lose a fabulous asset of the people.
