Become a Daffodil Day Street Collector
Daffodil Day is the largest national fundraising day for cancer research, patient and family support and education in New Zealand.
This year Daffodil Day is on Friday 30 August, and we're looking for some amazing people to volunteer as Street Collectors. If you can spare some time on Friday 30 August or Saturday 31 August 2019, please sign up to volunteer. It'll only take 2-3 hours, and you can choose a time and place that suits you. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
