Alberton Market Day this Sunday 11th March 10am-2pm at Alberton 1863, 100 Mt Albert Road, Mt Albert!
There is a great line-up with lots of top food vendors, produce and crafts. Local artist Lyn-Marie from DizziePixieDesigns will be running a kids wand making activity and a wonderful small organisation called Pets Assisting Therapy will be be there with lots of animals (baby goat, rabbits, a piglet, ducks, turtles, guinea pigs)! We are delighted to have Sunday Star Times columnist and gardening guru Lynda Hallinan as our special guest. She will be there the whole time with copies of her books and produce from her garden and will give a free talk at 11:30am on the best crops for small gardens - what, when and where to plant for an oasis of thriving abundance in the city!
