Frank Larking's playboat has been moved
Frank Larking's playboat was moved this morning to its new home at Larking's Landing Reserve :)
A huge thanks to Total Marine who donated the time to barge the playboat during the king tide!
Over the next few months, the boat will be cleaned up and a concrete cradle will be built to fully support it. Other elements, including a second ladder, sand, rope, posts and plantings will be added as the boat begins its new life as a land-based playboat.
It is expected that it will be completed around July.
Thanks so much to the steering group of community volunteers who have worked with the Local Board and project manager to progress this project.
