The Pacific Business Hub
Our family at the Pacific Kids' Learning Digital Showcase at Hoyts Cinemas Sylvia Park ๐ฅ๐ฟ๐๏ธ
Thursday July 18th's showcase was the official launch of 35 specially curated digital stories plus 30 Pacific animated songs, demonstrating to our communities the exciting opportunities that the digital space provides to keep our histories, languages and cultures thriving into the future. A beautiful selection of 2D and 3D children's animations was woven together into a multilingual film, telling our Pasifika stories on the big screen. The collection showcased was co-created by PKL alongside local students, teachers, parents, community knowledge holders, elders and digital creatives.
Congratulations Evo Leota, Theresa Tupuola-Sorenson & Tatiana Marich and their amazing team of animators Elizabeth Kumaran (Liz), Herman Aviu, Carmel Adam, Tom Greentree for yet another job well done for the year and an awesome and successful showcase ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐
Living the good life in retirement, a Stuff-Metlifecare partnership
Kia ora team
Our special partnership with Metlifecare continues, and we have some great content to share with readers about people living their best lives in retirement.
This issue we look at some of the worthwhile volunteer roles retirees are filling in our communities, learn about mindfulness at any age, and check out some Kiwi beach travel options while the good weather lasts.
Donโt forget to try out our nostalgia quiz - itโs for anyone who wants to test the Kiwi knowledge theyโve picked up over the past four, five, six or more decades.
