A beautiful way to connect with your inner child on a regular basis is to find a photo that you like of you as a child. Have it with you in your handbag or cell phone screen cover or next to your bed...every time you see it look at that beautiful child's eyes and smile and affirm:
"I love you and care for you, you are never alone. "
Feel how it feels to know that inner child connection, you might see an image or colours as you close your eyes, there might even be a certain smell, a scent that takes you deeper.
It's like the tree with rings all there now...you are at every moment of all ages...connected, all there... now...<3

Advice from the Ministry of Health (MoH) is that staff and customers are classified as casual contacts. This means anyone in-store at this time should self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days. If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result and until 24 hours after symptoms resolve.
Our teams have been working to increased protocols since Tuesday 17th August and all these remain in place, which means the store has been cleaned multiple times throughout the day, has implemented increased sanitisation procedures, physical distancing and mandatory mask wearing for customers and staff. These are all aspects which are designed to keep our team and customers safe.
It's been a challenging time for everyone, we ask you to please bear with the team as they work to meet your needs #bekind #maskup.
We’d like to say ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa i tēnei wā to our team, friends and whanau who have pulled together and helped make it possible to keep our doors open, and have stock on shelves for customers.

For the month of October, we want to see how you tackle emergency preparedness. From getting first aid training and stocking up on essentials to putting together a grab n’ go bag or working with your neighbours to create a neighbourhood resillience plan, a little bit of planning goes a long way to make sure you and your community can get through any situation. Joining or setting up a Neighbourhood Support group is a great way to keep in touch and work together to reach out, look out and help out one another no matter what life may bring.
Don’t forget! This month also coincides with New Zealand’s national earthquake drill and tsunami hikoi, ShakeOut, which will be taking place on Thursday, October 28th at 9:30am.
Let us know how you’re getting prepared this month by tagging us in your social media posts or emailing us your photos, videos, or experiences to: info@neighbourhoodsupport.co.nz
