Local Elections

Graeme from Blockhouse Bay

I heard an election peace from Wayne Brown yesterday, as part of that speech he was going to fix everything(maybe not all that easy to do) he also said public transport in Auckland was broken, I had just traveled from Blockhouse Bay to Remuera, bus, train bus, then down to Wynyard wharf for lunch, Nothing wrong with the system if you do your homework, I wondered when the last time Mr Brown used public transport, we would all like it to run from our front door(that is what Uber is for, and you pay for it) the system is not perfect and I the people at AT are working to try and get it that way. There maybe a web site were it tells me exactly what Mr Brown is going to do. Yes I have reached the age were I can thank Winston Peters each time I travel(free), I would just like to make the comment that open comments to gain votes are not good. We already have a Govt the has done this and fallen flat(West coast mine, light rail to Auckland Airport) I am not against Mr Brown, he may have some good ideas, just would like to point out, Auckland public Transport does work if you do your home work.

Why make finding reserving books harder in Auckland libraries?

Alan from Titirangi

Just using the last digit of a customers library card should be sufficient?
So all books for a customer go in the same place.
What do you think? See: www.neighbourly.co.nz...
See below for a letter to the Western Leader last week.
