Orca group seen off St Heliers beach this evening. Did anyone get a photo of the 3 Orca seen swimming along the shore line towards the city about 4:30 this afternoon? I was told one had a deformed dorsal fin and was with a small orca and an other larger one. It sounds like Orca Ben who I found on stranded on the beach at Mangawhai in 1997. We got him back into the water the next morning. About a year later his dorsal fin was cut by a boat propeller. I am keen to see a photo of the group tonight to know whether it was Ben.
