Lymphoedema Support Network Warmly invites you to attend: Anna Griffiths Managing Stress and Coping with Chronic Pain

Free under cover parking is available within the building

We are delighted to introduce Anna Griffiths our speaker on ‘Managing Stress and Coping with Chronic Pain’

This session will explore common reactions to coping with distress. We will then discuss strategies that can help people cope with the impact that chronic conditions can have on their lives.
Finally, we will give a brief summary of the support services provided by the Cancer Society.

Anna Griffiths is the Manager of Psychology Service/Health Psychologist/Cancer Society Auckland/Northland Division

Anna is a registered Psychologist. She trained in the University of Auckland’s Health Psychology programme. She has worked in physical health settings throughout her career primarily in oncology and chronic pain. She is now the Manager of the Psychology Service at the Cancer Society and is passionate about helping people cope with how cancer impacts on their lives. She works within a team of psychologists who provide a range of free services to support people who have been affected by cancer.

Certificate for one hour CPD can be offered to Health Professionals attending.
