What's on: Impacts of microplastics - 17 July
Join Conscious Action alongside Jyoti Morningstar (founder of WE-AR) and Emily Joy Frost (marine biologist) for an informative and interactive discussion about microplastics in our clothing and the impact they're having on the world's oceans.
Using her journey in the fashion industry as a vehicle for change, Jyoti is passionate about how our choices impact on the environment and our health.
Emily uses her knowledge from researching in the area of marine biology and environmental/comparative physiology, ecology and molecular biology for over 8 years.
The event is designed to both educate and empower so that we, as individuals, can take more #consciousaction in our daily lives.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
