Can you help a Dutch teen find her Kiwi father?

Kendall Hutt Reporter from Central Leader

Hi neighbours. Dutch teen Sterre Sterenborg, 19, is appealing for help finding her Kiwi father. Details are scant, but she knows his first name is Ross and his last name could be Eadie or Eady. Sterenborg's mother, Angela, met Ross in Galway, Ireland, in the late 1990s. Her mother worked at the hostel where her father stayed as a long-term guest while working in construction. They parted ways after a fight and Angela went to Amsterdam. Ross enjoyed playing the guitar, had three sisters and would be in his late 40s now. Do you know Sterenborg's father? Email harrison.christian@stuff.co.nz or put NFP in your post below if it is not for publication.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
