This cat's going places, especially after being on She'll Be Right lol...

Phil from Farm Cove

Very excited to write we’ve got rising Kiwi Americana music star Miller Yule as featured artist on tomorrow’s She’ll Be Right on Saturdays Show with PJ Taylor, 3-7pm (NZ time) on East FM.
The Auckland born-and-bred singer-songwriter is coming into the studio to talk about his fantastic new album Let It Burn and his life in music from 3.30pm. We’ll play the 10-song work in entirety, too.
It’s also the second of three SBRs to feature artists on the bluestacular line-up for the Auckland Blues Festival, on November 12, and we’ll be spinning tracks by artists on the bill.

Miller Yule says his debut album Let It Burn is “explosive, emotive, invasive, passionate, and fiery!”
He’s thought carefully about life and presented his storytelling in beautiful musical form. There’s some serious storylines without being too heavy, wrapped in excited and catchy melodies and beats.
“It will give you that pumping, kick-start, upbeat vibe as well as those slow-burning, passionate and reflective feels.
“Let It Burn covers the journey of fire. From the spark to the flame, becoming engulfed to dying out, smouldering smoky embers to ash and dust.
“It’s a body of work that captures my life in my 20s. The good, the bad, the highs, the lows, the falling in love, the heartbreak, the regrets, the depression, the fulfilment and the emptiness, being lost to being exactly where I was meant to be all along!
“Simultaneously exciting and terrifying, this was my 20s… along with everyone else!
“Releasing this album is the final cathartic act of letting go of these experiences and letting it all burn away.
“You can’t erase the past, but you can let go, let it be and let it burn. You can accept everything for what it was, who you were and who you’ve become from the experience, the struggle and the transformation. This is life and this is Let It Burn!”
He sure has a way with words, Miller Yule.

East FM is East Auckland’s diverse community-powered public service radio station, on 88.1FM and 107.1FM on local frequencies, nationally and globally at www.eastfm.nz... and on app iHeart Radio.
She’ll Be Right - it’s all about the vibe; it’s all about the groove. And this Saturday, we’re getting busy on variety. – PJ

Let It Burn was recorded at Auckland’s Roundhead Studio A, with additional recording done at Big Pop Studios by Scott Seabright, the single Dynamite and the Let It Burn album was mixed by Clint Murphy at Roundmead Studios, UK, mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound Mastering, Nashville, and produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Melanie C, Opshop).
