Money had no meaning to the banker
Who was no more than a poor man’s debt
Money makes the world go around
He believed what his teacher had said

Money had meaning to the baker
Who sold baking to make some bread
Money makes the world go around
And hungry mouths paid to be fed

Money had little meaning to younglings
Who happily exchanged coins for sweets
Money makes the world go around
And rewards spending with a treat

Money had intricate meaning to the developer
Who profited buying land from the crown
Money makes the world go around
For what is exchanged cannot be found

Money had meaning when people had dreams
Now our future is built on currency
Money makes the world go around
It is our lucid dream for our independency

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
