Barely used, mint condition Canon 800D DSLR camera with lens and extra battery

Rebecca from Howick

I bought this camera as I was going to study photography but circumstances have meant I cannot study at this time so I am to sell the camera as I won't be able to use it at present. It's in perfect condition, used twice at home. Has been stored in a camera bag. Comes with the battery & charger as well as an extra battery I purchased for it.

It retails for $1099 which is a current special deal at JB hi fi, and the extra battery cost me $92, selling the camera with the extra battery for $845.

Below is information from the JB hi fi website about this camera:

It's a powerful entry Level DSLR camera providing you with everything you need to start your photography journey. Ideal for first time DSLR users unfamiliar with camera vocabulary the new guided user interface will help you learn as you shoot. With easy-to-understand displays, the images onscreen will guide you on the different shooting effects.

Quality and detail in all situations

Combining leading imaging technologies - including a new 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor and Canon's latest DiG!C 7 processor, the camera will capture scenes in impressive quality, while being fast enough to ensure crystal clear images. For Llow light shots from sunrise to sunset, the 800D allows you to shoot up to ISO 25,600 -extendable to 51,200.

Capture all the action

Whether it's a safari, sport or sunny scenes on the beach, Dual Pixel CMOS Auto Focus tracks subjects as they move. The combination of a 45 point all cross-type AF system and 6 frames per second continuous shooting means you can freeze the action with ultimate precision.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
