Start it all with a Christmas Gift

Steve Chaplin from Howick Squash Club

Is there someone you know that you always battle to find a good gift for?
Have they ever considered playing squash?
Why not buy them a currently pro-rated membership at Howick Squash Club? Pro-rated memberships are short term memberships running from now until the end of March 2019. Just check the web site or give the club a call (09 534-5972) to find out more.
But consider the following...
It all starts with the Christmas Gift of a membership, the benefits to them are huge, great fun, fitness, meet new people... But for you it becomes easy, with a squash membership, there are now no worries on what to give for birthdays, fathers/mothers day... there is always a bit of gear that a squash player can do with, from under $10 (squash balls, socks or wrist bands) to as much as you would like to spend.
Consider it now, make your future gift selection easy and give someone you know a squash membership.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
