With Covid-19 still a very real risk, people who are unwell are told to stay home, and to keep any sickly kids home too - but what if you don't have any more sick leave owing?
Most Kiwis are entitled to five days of sick leave a year, but some - often those in lower paid jobs - get less.
New Zealand’s minimum sick leave allowance is one of the lowest in the OECD. In Australia they get 10 days, in most European countries it’s even more.

Think I was scammed today
Hi everyone just a warning that I think I got scammed today. Went in to buy an extension cord came out with 4 pillows 3 sheet sets. 6 new towels. A frying pan a toaster. A electric jug. Dinner plates knife fork and spoon set it seems like they put everything on special and made the lay out off the store so I had to walk past everything before I got to the product I went into buy. Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
