Dog attack in Milford sat 2nd January
Please be aware there 's a smallish build dark haired woman who was walking a german shepherd or Alsatian dog on Sat 2nd along beach road by the Marina. She did not have control of her dog who lunged at me and I got a nasty bite on my elbow. It was extremely painful and I was told the pain was due to the bite being into muscle and on bone and a joint. Apparently high risk of infection and a dog bite made it more to dog bite. I was in shock from the attack and pain and this woman insisted I only had a scratch. there were four puncture wounds from the dogs teeth and a massive bruise. Not only did this woman deny what happened but another one came across the road with her entourage and asked me very rudely why I was crying as I only had a scratch. When I said to her How dare you decide how painful this was she became abusive and told her friends not to bother with me because I was cuckoo. These two women need to be held to account for their atrocious behavior and I was left on the street severely distressed and crying with the pain until some decent people came along and saw my distress, the wound as well as offered assistance and support. But mainly I want people to be very wary if you come across this person because her dog is stronger than her and she can't control it.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
