Justice of the Peace at Highland Park Library
Welcome back to the Justice of the Peace (JP) service desk opening again in the Highland Park Library weekly on Saturdays starting this coming 15 January 2022 from 10am - 11.30am. The desk is currently only available to fully vaccinated clients. Clients must wear a mask and present their vaccine passport before entering the library. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
