Do you know what your rights are at work? How about your rights to do with renting or owning a home? If you buy something that’s faulty do you know what your options are? This CAB Awareness Week from 8-14 April you’re being invited to Discover Your Rights – Tūhuratia ō motika!

Helping people to know what their rights and responsibilities are and how they can act on these is core to what the Citizens Advice Bureau is about. We help people from all walks of life to access the information they need so they are empowered to take next steps and to resolve their problems.

A highlight of this year’s Awareness Week is the launch of the CAB’s new public website - www.cab.org.nz.... After a year of development and user testing, the resulting website provides an accessible, mobile-friendly, knowledgebase of 2,000 questions and answers about people’s rights that are based on real issues confronted by clients.

The information about rights is grounded in the law but is practical and is expressed in a way that’s easy to understand.

The website also provides a directory of more than 30,000 community organisations so that the CAB can help connect people with any additional services they need.

We’re keen to break down any barriers people face in finding out what their rights are. Our new website is a fantastic resource for the whole community, and complements the amazing face-to-face and phone service provided by our skilled and dedicated volunteers.

We invite you to Discover Your Rights with us this Awareness Week by checking out our new website www.cab.org.nz..., calling us 0800 367 222, or by visiting your local CAB. We’re here to help.

* 169,700kms. The engine is in very good condition with no problems.

I have taken very good care of the car, always cleaned the interior/exterior, as well as the engine bay. It has been very reliable and drives like a new car.

I have had no problems at all. It has fairly new tyres. Very minor interior paint peel (not noticeable) and only one scratch, on the left rear wheel side, very easy fix, as well as some curbing on the left front rim.

I have decided to let this car go due to me needing a slightly bigger car. I hate to see it go and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have.

Auckland Sinfonietta, based in the North Shore, was founded in 2016 by Dr Jucheol Wang who is the musical director. The goals of the Sinfonietta are to promote orchestral repertoire and variety of music and present it to local audiences.

It also seeks to nurture and present music of different ethnicities in an effort to promote multiculturalism and therefore enrich our society’s tastes and appreciation. By doing this it aims to establish a niche in the Auckland orchestral scene that is currently not filled by the other orchestral bodies in Auckland.

The mission of the Auckland Sinfonietta Trust is to use music and the performing arts as a means of facilitating communication between various ethnic groups and to use these arts to promote relationships between Eastern and Western cultures in New Zealand and overseas.

But we still are mindful that we must ensure we get the porgrammes to all residents....across Kaipatiki.
Thank you......
Kaipatiki Winter Fun this season = at the moment ( DRAFT) looks like this

Monday Winter Fun for Senior Play & Games

Tuesday Preschool Play at two venues

Wednesday Preschool Play at two venues

Thursday Preschool Play

Friday Preschool Play

There are alot of mix and match thrugh the programme so you do need to keep an eye on this.......there also some

Saturdays or Sundays each month and they are Family Playdates with various themes...... and we were asked to have some later starts during this season and we have accommodated your request at some of the preschool play dates .......there are also a couple of of inter generational playdates planned as well...and then there are some exiting School Holiday options in the planning as well............so enjoy the winter with so much fun play time together........oh yes the Portable Playground is being considered to be brought into some indoor venues that can accommodate the structure......
