How to Object to Your CV

David from adviceHQ

Auckland Council (AC) released the long awaited Council Valuations (CV) last week with the general consensus that values are below current market values - note 1 June 2021 valuation date. If you would like to object to your valuation AC will "need to receive your objection by the objection due date on your valuation notice. It is approximately six weeks from when the new values are published." Changes may result in increased/decreased rates. There are a number of reasons you may want to object to your CV, get in touch with the adviceHQ team to discuss your options. #adviceHQ #CV #AucklandCouncil

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
